Poser is a director duo made up of two friends, Emmanuel Terrell and Jake Vriezelaar, who met while at university in rural middle America. An amalgamation of shared life experiences (and messes) brings levity and drama into every frame of their work. Their process is guided by an overwhelming desire to point to the beauty in the mundane. Focusing on everyday moments grounds their work in a reality that gives viewers permission to laugh and, most importantly, feel seen.

Together, they’ve crafted stories for household names such as Nike, Jordan, New Balance, Puma, and Reebok — finding inventive ways to capture the art of trendsetting apparel. Additionally, they self-produced their debut short film, The Lives We Make, which premiered at New York’s iconic Angelika Theater.
